Attention Counties: The stakes just got better!

Counties now have the chance to raise even more money for your 4-H program.

Here’s the deal: The three counties that raise the most money (gross sales) will be awarded with extra cash.

First place - $250

Second place - $100

Third place - $50

These prizes will even be awarded to counties without an established foundation. Counties with a foundation receive 50% of the net sales and counties without receive 25%. Even if your county hasn’t requested the Clover Corolla to come to your community, there is still time. We’re pretty well booked in July and August but September and October are somewhat open (see the schedule below). We encourage counties to sell tickets on their own, even if the car doesn’t travel to an event. Remember that ticket sales continue until the beginning of October.

Email us at 4hraffle@gmail.com if you would like to request the car to come to your community or to sell tickets on your own.

We are rolling!

The State 4-H Conference wrapped up last week with a few sightings of the Clover Corolla, hope all of the 4-Hers had a great time!

On July 8th we will be in Winneshiek County and then we will begin an 11 day excursion on the 10th!! We will be visiting Lee, Dallas, Wright, Sioux, Delaware, Madison, Wapello, Pocahontas, Buena Vista, Mills, and Grundy counties on our journey all over Iowa.

We also added a new video to the Iowa 4-H site showing the vehicle with and without the wrap. The wrap is just a cover we put on the car to help us advertise the raffle, the winner may choose to keep the wrap on or remove it when the raffle is over.

Here is a link to the video:

See you on the road!
