Meet the Raffle Interns

My name is Maddi Sieck and I am a senior at Iowa State University majoring in Advertising. This summer I will be serving as one of the vehicle raffle interns for the Iowa 4-H Foundation along with Silas Pippitt. I have worked at State 4-H Office since last summer and am very excited to continue working here! I grew up in Glenwood, Iowa and have been a member of the Mills County Lively Oaks 4-H Club since 4th grade. I have been involved with 4-H on many levels, and was even given the opportunity to serve as the Collegiate 4-H President my junior year at Iowa State. I am very excited to travel around the state working with different counties promoting and raising money for 4-H!

My name is Silas Pippitt and I am a senior at Iowa State and am studying public relations. I will be graduating at the end of the summer and am looking forward to finding a real job. I grew up in several places in southern Iowa including Keosaqua, Cantril, Essex, and Red Oak. This summer I will be working with Maddi Sieck as one of the vehicle raffle interns. I am very excited about attending the county fairs this summer and raising lots of money for 4-H.

We have several ideas we are excited about implementing for the vehicle raffle. We don’t want to give too much away but a good way to stay up to speed with our progress is to follow us on twitter at http://twitter.com/iowa4hraffle!
